Your free trial

Every new workspace starts with a 14-day free trial with Growth's limits and features. You don't need a card to start, and nothing is charged unless you choose a plan.

What the trial includes

The trial starts when you create your workspace. Until it ends you get everything on Growth:

• 100 active requests at once
• an unlimited team, so you can invite colleagues
• your logo and colour on the client upload page and client emails
• custom reminder schedules

Advanced reporting is only on Pro, so it isn't part of the trial. Plans and limits

Joining someone else's workspace from an invitation doesn't start a trial. The trial belongs to the workspace.

See how long is left

The owner can open Settings → Billing. During the trial:

• the plan card shows a Free trial badge and "Free trial · Ends on" with the date
• a note at the top says how many days are left, for example "3 days left in your free trial. You have Growth features until 22 October 2026."

   Open Billing

   Go to Settings → Billing and scroll to the plans.

   Pick a plan

   Select Choose Starter, Choose Growth or Choose Pro.

   Pay on Stripe

   Enter your card on Stripe's checkout page. Back in GarnerDocs you'll see "Thanks for subscribing. Your plan updates as soon as Stripe confirms the payment."

Choosing a plan ends the trial straight away. The first month is charged that day, and any trial days left aren't added on.

If your team or active requests are already more than a plan allows, its button reads Downgrade and is greyed out, with the reason below it.

When the trial ends

If you haven't chosen a plan, your workspace moves to Starter's limits. Nothing is deleted:

• Requests you've sent keep collecting, and reminders still go out.
• You can't send new requests while you have more active requests than Starter allows.
• Everyone on your team keeps access, but you can't invite anyone new.
• The client upload page and client emails go back to the default look. Your logo and colour are kept.
• A reminder schedule you changed keeps being used, but you can't change its steps.

Good to know

• Only the owner can see the trial or choose a plan.
• Payments are handled by Stripe. Card details never reach GarnerDocs.
