Use case

Claim documents, in one place, not five emails.

For insurance agents and brokers: send each policyholder one list when they report a claim, and let reminders chase what's missing.

How it works

One claim file, four steps.

The same start for a burst pipe, a fender bender or a break-in.

  1. 1

    Pick the template

One list for each kind of claim.

Start the request from your claim template, then add or remove documents for this loss.

    Create a template
  2. 2

    Send a private link

    Photos straight from the phone.

Your policyholder opens the link on any device and uploads against each document. No account needed.

Copy or share the client link
  3. 3

    Let reminders follow up

Only what's missing, until it's in.

By default, reminders go out 3 and 7 days after you send the request and shortly before the due date, listing only what's outstanding.

  4. 4

    Review each file

Approve it, or ask for a clearer photo.

Approve each document, or ask again with a note shown next to it. Earlier versions stay in the history.

Ask a client for a replacement file

Features

What gets a claim file complete, not almost.

A template for each kind of claim

Build your property, auto and theft lists once, then start each claim from the one that fits.

Create a template

Photos like any other file

Each document shows your policyholder the file types it takes and its size limit. Tick HEIC for iPhone photos.

Add, remove or rename requested documents

Replacements with a note

A blurry receipt, an unsigned claim form, one room of three: ask again with a note shown next to that document.

Ask a client for a replacement file

ZIP download for the claim file

Download a claim's documents as one ZIP. GarnerDocs deletes them after your retention period.

A claim, start to finish

When a policyholder reports a loss, start their request from the claim template that fits, remove what doesn't apply and set a due date. They get one private link, with no account or password.

As files arrive, reminders chase only what's missing. Damage photos upload like any other file, several at once and up to 25 MB each. Tick HEIC on a document for iPhone photos.

If a receipt is blurry or the claim form isn't signed, ask for a replacement with a note shown next to that document.

When it's all in, approving the last document completes the request. Download the files for your claim file. GarnerDocs deletes them after the retention period you choose.

What GarnerDocs doesn't do

GarnerDocs does one job: getting documents from your policyholders to you, complete and checked. It doesn't handle, file or adjust claims, assess damage or decide what's covered. It isn't an agency management system, and it doesn't connect to yours. Only your team can download the files: see the Security page.

Questions

Do policyholders need to create an account?

No. They open your private link and upload from a phone or computer. Their progress is saved.

Can they send videos of the damage?

No. Video files aren't accepted, so ask for photos. Policyholders can choose several at once.

Can policyholders sign the claim form in GarnerDocs?

No. GarnerDocs doesn't do e-signatures. Your policyholder uploads a photo or scan of the signed form.

Does GarnerDocs file or handle claims?

No. GarnerDocs collects your policyholders' documents and your team reviews them. It doesn't file claims with a carrier, assess damage or decide what's covered.

Spend less time chasing. More time doing the work that matters.
