Reviewing documents
Approve several files at once
Tick files on the Documents page and approve them together.
Last updated · Facts checked
On the Documents page, tick the files you've checked, then select Approve in the bar that appears. Each file is approved as if you'd approved it on its own.
Steps
-
Open Documents
Select Documents in the sidebar. The Awaiting review tab lists every file waiting for review, newest first.
-
Narrow the list (optional)
Use All clients, All requests and the Uploaded filter (Today, Last 7 days, Last 30 days) to show, for example, one client's files from this week.
-
Check the files
Select Preview on a row to open the file. Use the arrows in the preview panel to move to the next file without closing it.
-
Tick the files
Tick the box at the start of each row, or tick the box in the header to select every file on the page.
-
Approve them
Select Approve [number] files in the bar above the table. You'll see "[number] files approved".
What happens next
- Each document whose files are all approved shows Approved to you and on your client's upload page, and drops out of the next reminder.
- A request whose documents are all approved completes on its own, and its remaining reminders are cancelled.
- The request's activity shows one entry for your approvals, such as "approved 6 documents".
Good to know
- Only files waiting for review can be ticked. Approved files, files sent back for replacement and files on requests that are no longer active can't be.
- The page shows 10 files at a time, so select all covers those 10. Approve them, and the next ones move up.
- A file can't be sent back in bulk. To ask for a replacement, use Request replacement in the file's ⋯ menu. See Ask a client for a replacement file.
- If someone else approved a file while you were looking, it's skipped. If none of the files you picked are still waiting, you'll see "None of those files are waiting for review any more."
- Select all and the bar also work on the All files tab, but only the files waiting for review can be ticked there.
